Sustainable Development Goals Model UN is to educate youth through Model UN activities, equipping the next generation with the skills and mindset needed to navigate an increasingly interconnected world. We work hard to make students better leaders, pubic speakers, and analytical thinkers, preparing students to excel in both academic and professional settings
What is Model UN?
Model UN is a UN style debate simulation activity for kids. Participants are called 'delegates'. MUNers think about a world problem and try to find new, fresh answers from where they are in time going forward. MUNers are not bound by current global solutions. Instead, they build upon them or create their very own solutions. Model UN encourages kids natural creativity.
What do kids learn in Model UN?
MUNers learn about global issues, have the option to attend conferences, work collaboratively, engage in critical thinking, practice conflict resolution, strengthen communication skills, gain perspective-taking, and make friends.
What is a typical class experience like?
Our 'Delegates' play public speaking games, discuss global issues, enact crisis events, practice Model UN style debates, and discover new and creative ways of peacebuilding. MUNers have fun delving deeply into various global topics and nurture a curiosity about current global events.
